The delegate of culture, Antonio Vélez, visited today the students participating in one of the musical camps taught by musician Juan Flores «Chino» at the Centro Cultural de Antigua.
Antonio Vélez emphasized the great success of the participation and «especially the feedback we receive from the people who participate in these workshops who are delighted and even request a longer duration.»
In July, three different courses were organized over several weeks. One is the music production workshop (July 1-15), another is the electric guitar workshop, and the other is the accompanying guitar workshop (both between July 16 and 31). The slots are limited to 15 participants per week.

The music production workshop aims to bring the culture of home studio to everyone in a very accessible and easy way, «it’s about transforming music into a product that all people can upload to networks, to music distribution platforms, and thus reach everyone more effectively.»
The electric guitar is a master class «addressing all needs from a level close to a professional level, meeting their needs and teaching them a little street, so to speak, so they can go out and play in their bands.»
The guitar course «has always been very well received. It is done for anyone whose dream in life is to learn to play the guitar.» All workshops are aimed at individuals aged 14 and above.
