Between April 2nd and 4th, 2025, the 9th edition of The Professional Music Days of Extremadura (MUM) will take place in Mérida. A landmark event where all stakeholders in the music industry in Extremadura will have the opportunity to appreciate the creative talent of local artists. Several days that will fill the city with multiple concerts, showcases, exhibitions, training workshops, and activities.

«This weekend, we are launching the first Jazz Festival in Mérida, and throughout this April, we will have other events such as Dance or the Book Fair celebration,» in addition to this Mother event that will take place in venues like the Temple of Diana, El Foro Porh, Plaza Plaza de Foro, Plaza de Foro, Plaza Plaza ESPARA, and others.

A total of 21 projects in «Pitch» format and 190 registrations from professionals across Spain, as well as international programmers from Canada, Japan, Chile, the UK, and Morocco.

The program consists of 25 promotional actions of 25 minutes (Exhibitions), concerts, panel discussions, training workshops, commercial exchange spaces, etc. Additionally, it is an open space for citizens to participate in concerts and scheduled exhibitions in various iconic locations in Mérida, such as the Temple of Diana, the Forum Porch, etc.
The IX Professional Music Days in Extremadura (MUM24) are organized by the Association of Cultural Managers in Extremadura in collaboration with the Center for Performance and Music Arts (Cemart), the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, Youth, and Sports of the Extremadura Council, the Councilors of Badajoz and Cágeros, the Municipal Council of Mérida, and Extra.
