Regarding city visitors during those days, it was indicated that this latest edition saw a 33.63% increase in national tourists and a 26.55% increase in international visitors compared to the same period in 2024. In terms of national origin, visitors from Madrid led with 23.37%, followed by 14.27% and 14.27%, with the United States at 13.66%, and Portugal at 10.94%.
Hotel occupancy on Wednesday, May 21, reached 100%, «emphasizing that the slate was full and, therefore, at 100% over the weekend,» said González.

He also emphasized that the city’s craft was «favored by the holidays, for example, the Roman bird that allowed citizens to acquire everything they needed to complete their outfits: costumes, jewelry, accessories, crafts…»
Regarding the impact of social media on the city of Mérida, Tourism Mérida and the 15th Emerita Lvdica doubled the impact from the previous edition, reaching 4,401,041 people, whereas last year it was nearly 2,000,000 people, a repercussion that, according to the delegate, will have a direct impact.
