«Mérida Kids» opens its doors today on Félix Valverde Lillo Street. Alberto Velázquez and Jessica Herrera are two young emerging entrepreneurs who have picked up the pace and have opened a new fashion store for children and young people this afternoon, «and thus contribute to the local commerce in which we believe we must contribute with our grain of sand, so that Mérida becomes an even more possible city, if possible,» they explain.
The mayor, Antonio Rodríguez Osuna, accompanied by the commerce and entrepreneurship delegate, Ángel Calle, visited the new unit to «complete and complement those young fashion stores that are no longer in the city and that there is still a significant market demand that can be met,» explains the mayor. «We have come to accompany them and congratulate them for taking the risk and having the support of the Municipal Council, so that this business lasts for many years,» Rodríguez Osuna stated during his visit.

«We want to offer all our customers a lovely store, where clothing from zero to sixteen years old,» says Jéssica, who also announces that «this first opening week we will offer a 10% discount on all clothing.»
Meridakids is a multi-brand fashion store, «but with the particularity that we offer exclusivity in the ‘funky’ children’s brand area,» making us even more appealing,» highlight the owners.
