The program for the growth of Socio-Mackerel and the introduction of people in a situation or at risk of social exclusion (program’s Cross) 2023-2026, funded by the European Social Fund Plus and developed by the Local Council, organized an emotional workshop for employment.

«A training framed within the pre-Article workshops that take place from the program to provide participating individuals with tools and skills as part of their socio-insertion itinerary,» says the delegate of Social Services, Catalina Alarcón, who adds that «more than 45 people have been trained this year.»

Emotional management «plays a fundamental role in the job search that participants face, so they must learn to recognize and manage emotions, improve stress management, increase self-esteem,» says the delegate.

This workshop allows participants to «better face an individual and group job interview, the car process, or the search for a professional goal, becoming candidates for the job market,» emphasizes Catalina Alarcón.

The main objective of the Crucian program «is to contribute to social inclusion and improve socio-naval insertion in a situation or at risk of social exclusion in the city of Mérida.»
