A field that was born with «the purpose of reaffirming the right to health as a human right of women to which they must have access without restrictions or exclusions of any kind and throughout their lives.»

In this sense, she indicated that «it is essential that all public institutions, as well as all of society, persevere in and access to health, strengthening the exercise of a universal right that remains in the shadows in many parts of the world.»

Therefore, the delegation of equal opportunities between women and men this month is dedicated to health in its different facets. These workshops have been divided by ages and two will take place for women between 20 and 45 and two for women over 46.

Workshops for Women between 20 and 45 will take place on May 14 and June 4 at 6:00 p.m., at Campoamor Center and will last two hours. In the case of workshops for women over 46 years old, These will take place on May 29 and June 3, also, after Campoamor Center. The number of places is limited. Registration will be done with the next form from 12:00 pm tomorrow, Tuesday, May 6.

On the other hand, Car Care Craft Workshops -care facilitated by the women of the «practical and rushed» association to work to return to our roots through crafts to work on creativity, as well as the expression of emotions through crafts.

Aagagese explained that these workshops «are intended for the women in our city to empower them through the solidarity economy, handicrafts, and recycling, promoting autonomy, sisterhood, and social justice from a feminist and sustainable perspective that challenges gender inequalities.»

Specifically, 4 craft workshops will be organized to transform materials into unique pieces that promote sustainability and social inclusion.

The workshops are as follows:

  • Recycled wood crafts workshop: May 26
  • Textile craft workshop with recycled fabrics: May 26
  • Craft workshop for making natural wool soaps: June 2
  • Artisan workshop with seashells: will take place on June 2

All these workshops will take place at the Centroamor Celar Center from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, the number of places is limited, and registration will be done with the next form they can access from 12 noon tomorrow, Tuesday, May 6. Initially (if there are no places known), you can only choose one workshop per person.
