- Ana Aagage, the municipal cleaning delegate, encouraged neighbors to participate and recycle; it is important
The «Abese con amarillo» campaign arrived today at Plaza de España to educate on depositing waste in the container of this color.
The goal of this campaign is to reduce the volume of incorrect waste, as people generally deposit in this container due to lack of knowledge, preventing the recycling of plastic, cans, and containers that should be deposited there.
Ana Aagage, a municipal cleaning delegate, encouraged neighbors to «participate and recycle; it is important to recycle for our environment and we always support this type of action, which is part of the sustainable development goals and based on our local government in cleaning and various awareness campaigns.»

Antonio López, manager of Ecombes in Extremadura, appreciated this campaign, stating that «although Extremadura and its residents are improving, it is essential to continue working on awareness campaigns to strengthen the habit of recycling, which is so beneficial for the environment.»
Along the street, the campaign features environmental monitors inviting neighbors to approach and learn. A teaching video is designed so they can later test their knowledge through a game where they must correctly identify the waste that goes in the yellow container.
This is an initiative of the Ministry of Agriculture, Animals, and Sustainable Development of the Extremadura Council, in collaboration with Ecoembes, aimed at educating on how to recycle plastic, cans, and cartons.

Participants will also be encouraged to consult Air, the free intelligent assistant developed by Ecoembes, where they can ask any questions about recycling any waste via WhatsApp.
