  • Rodríguez Osuna said, «it is a perfect opportunity to enjoy basketball in the city with a club in the former EBA category, which has not been experienced in Mérida for several years.»

The mayor, Antonio Rodríguez Osuna, purchased today the season ticket for the upcoming CP Bosco season, which runs until the third of February, in the former EBA League. It is a symbolic gesture of support and promotion from the mayor to the club, with the City Council being the main sponsor. Rodríguez Osuna was accompanied by the sports delegate, Toni Marín, and the coordinator of the Bosco Sports Club, Mariano García, who also recalled the collaboration agreement between the city of Mérida and the sports entity.

With this agreement, «the support of the city of Mérida for the city’s sports is revealed.» This is an agreement that includes the sports facilities of the Guadiense Sports Center, «plus a grant to the Bosco Sports Club, due to the growth of this season, which just ended 24-25 in the EBA League and will play the games this year in the Guadiana pavilion, once the conditional works have been completed.»

The Guadiana pavilion will undergo renovation to accommodate 1800 spectators with an additional telescopic level.

Mariano García thanked the City Council for the collaboration «as it was the main driver that went into the third of February.» He announced that the team has already registered with the Spanish Basketball Federation.

Regarding the season ticket campaign, he explains that «the attendance card will be essential for many people to attend the games.» The card is divided into three, a general season ticket for 40 euros, giving the right to all games, «unless we qualify for the playoffs.» There is also a family card for 60 euros «which allows a father, mother, and two children to attend.

Finally, a VIP card that grants access to front row seats «, and during halftime, we will have an area with good food and other amenities.» In relation to this, he emphasized that «fan support is essential to fill the Guadiana flag.»
